THE FUNERAL OF THE LATE
DAN CAMPELL [sic]
Funeral services for the late Dan Campbell, Ormond Merchant, were held in the Ormond Baptist Church at two o’clock on Thursday afternoon last, with Rev. Duncan McNabb, of Mishawaka, Ind., a friend of the family, officiating, assisted by Rev. A. H. Jones, of the Osgoode Baptist Church, Vernon. Miss Laura Rutherford presided at the piano, and the Winchester Male Quartette sang: "That Beautiful Land." The congregational hymns were: "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," and "Forever With The Lord." The quartette was accompanied by Miss Annie Walker.
Following the service, interment was made in the family plot at the Ormond Protestant Cemetery. The pall-bearers were: Messrs. Don. Craig, Robert MacDonald, Thos. MacLean, Ken. Campbell, Ken. Carkner and George Gibbons.
The late Mr. Campbelll [sic] died suddenly on Tuesday of last week, following a heart attack. He was in his 60th year.
